Breathe Easy will collect and correctly dispose of any amount of pre-removed and wrapped/sealed asbestos waste from your site.
Waste should be either be packed in manually lifetable wraps using polythene, or in marked asbestos bags.
Or you can come to us!
We also allow for the drop off of wrapped / bagged asbestos to our truck in Ranui, West Auckland. We will not accept unwrapped loose asbestos unless it is fuse panels or encased in some other material, or we give it the ok over the phone.

Rules
As of April 2025 current WorkSafe guidelines state:
A homeowner, or someone who is NOT a paid contractor (PCBU) can remove any amount of B-Class (Solid) asbestos from a site.
As long as WorkSafe guidelines are followed (Correct PPE, storage, handling). Additionally, no PAID contractors can be used to demolish, renovate or otherwise conduct works on the removal site without clearance certification (requires licensed removal).
NO amount of Friable (A-Class) asbestos can be removed by anyone without a license. e.g stipple/textured ceilings and vinyl.
!!IMPORTANT!!
All asbestos materials removed by the homeowner must be sufficiently wrapped/sealed by the homeowner/friends before collection.
All packages must be liftable by a single person (<100kg), unless someone will be onsite and willing to help load the materials into the vehicle.
Note: Handling unwrapped asbestos over 10m2 as a paid trades person is legally defined as Asbestos Removal Works and is notifiable to WorkSafe. Ignoring this is a fineable offence.

If truck stays on a site longer than 3 hours an additional +$150.00 will occur unless previously negotiated.
Max Weight in a single trip: 2 Tonne.
